What is Dubai kunafa?
Kunafa (also spelled knafeh or kunafeh) is a Middle Eastern dessert made with fine, shredded pastry, often toasted until golden and crisp. The "Dubai" version that went viral pairs toasted kunafa with pistachio cream and chocolate, most famously inside chocolate bars. The appeal is the contrast: crunchy pastry, creamy pistachio and smooth chocolate in one bite.
